Ingredients

Fenugreek leaves (methi) – 2 cups
Garlic-ginger-green chili paste – 3 tbsp
Sesame seeds(tal) – 2 tbsp
Carom seeds(ajmo) – 1 tbsp
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Curd – 1/2 cup
Whole wheat flour – 2.5 cups
Oil – 2 tbsp
Water – to prepare a dough

Method

Wash and chop 2 cups of fenugreek (methi) leaves.

Add 3 tbsp Garlic-ginger-green chili paste, 2 tbsp sesame seeds, 1 tbsp carom seeds, 2 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tbsp salt, 1 tsp turmeric powder.

Add 1/2 cup curd, 2.5 cups of whole wheat flour and 2 tbsp of oil.

Mix everything well. and prepare a soft dough with water.

Roll parathas (use some wheat flour to roll it) and fry them on pan just like our regular parathas.

And delicious gujarati thepla is ready! Serve with chutney or pickles.
