Preparation time: 10 minutes
Baking time: 12 minutes , Resting time: 2 hours
All purpose Flour – 1, 1/2 cup
Custard powder – 1/2 cup
Tutti frutti – 1/2 cup
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Powdered sugar – 1 cup
Unsalted butter (room temperature) – 1/2 cup
Pineapple/ Mixed fruit essence – 1 tsp
Milk – 1/4 cup
In a large mixing bowl, add 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour, 1/2 cup custard powder (i used mango flavor), 1/2 cup tutti frutti, 1 tsp baking powder and mix it well and keep aside.
Mix 1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1 cup sugar in large mixing bowl and whisk is for 2-3 minutes until mixture become soft. Add 1 tsp essence and 1/4 cup milk and mix it properly.
Add the flour mixture , use your hand to prepare a dough. (if you find it difficult to bind ,then add 1 tbsp milk). Divide it in 2 equal parts.Prepare a big roll in plastic wrap and put it in refrigerator for 2 hours.( you can also put it in freezer for 20 minutes if you are in hurry but remember to take out in 20 minutes 😀 ) .
Cut it in equal size .Preheat oven at 350°F/ 180°C.Put it in baking tray providing some space between each cookies. Bake it on 350°F/ 180°C for 12 minutes. Allow it to cool down completely on cooling rack. Store it in air tight container.
