Food, Travel and Observations!





All purpose Flour/ Maida – 4 cup
Clarified Butter/ Ghee – 3/4 cup
Sugar – 1.5 cup
Water – 1.5 cup
Oil – to fry


Add ghee/ clarified butter in all purpose flour/maida. Mix it well. ( Note: The color of flour will be changed. and when you take some flour and push it then it should not break. That’s the exact proportion of ghee)

Mix water and sugar. Dissolve all the sugar in water. Prepare stiff dough using this sweet water.

Roll big thick roti. Cut into pieces or give any shape of your choice. and fry them in oil on medium flame until they become golden brown.

And your tea time snack is Ready!!! 🙂
